Rolex retired the long-running 26mm Lady-Datejust in 2015 and replaced it with the 28mm, which brought the newer movement and the silicon hairspring with it. So on a watch that left the factory that way, the word tells you the case is precious metal, which is one of the few Rolex names that carries hard information. It still does not tell you the model, the size or the dial, and each of those is priced separately.
The confusion runs the other way too. Jubilee and Oyster bracelets are made in steel, in two-tone Rolesor and in solid gold, so those names say nothing about metal on their own. Pearlmaster is both a model and a five-piece link bracelet, made only in precious metal, and Rolex removed the collection from its catalogue in 2022. Plenty of watches in Los Angeles have also been fitted with a replacement band at some point in fifty years.
