This Return Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and requirements that govern return requests for eligible purchases made through South Bay Coin. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

Return Eligibility

Only eligible pre-owned items purchased online through South Bay Coin may qualify for return, subject to full compliance with this policy.

The following transactions are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless otherwise required by law:

• In-store purchases
• New or unworn products
• Bullion, coins, precious metals, scrap gold, silver, platinum, or similar market-based items
• Special orders or custom orders
• Items paid in whole or in part with cryptocurrency
• Items that do not meet every requirement outlined in this policy

Return Initiation

Return requests must be initiated within three calendar days from the date the shipment is marked delivered by the carrier.

To initiate a return, you must contact South Bay Coin by email, phone, or text with documented communication.

Returns cannot be initiated after the three-day window. No exceptions will be made for travel, delayed package opening, or similar circumstances.

Return Shipping Requirements

Once South Bay Coin conditionally approves a return request, a prepaid and insured return label may be issued. After receiving the label, the item must be shipped back within twenty-four hours.

Customers must use the approved carrier, approved shipping label, and approved drop-off method provided by South Bay Coin.

Customers should obtain a time-stamped receipt confirming the drop-off time and exact location.

Unauthorized drop-off locations, unattended drop boxes, third-party pack-and-ship stores, or customer-generated labels may void the return and insurance coverage.

As-Shipped Condition Requirement

All returned items must be received in the exact condition in which they were originally shipped.

Items must show no signs of wear, use, alteration, tampering, sizing, damage, replacement parts, polishing, cleaning, or handling beyond initial inspection.

All original packaging, tags, security stickers, boxes, papers, warranty cards, booklets, receipts, links, accessories, and protective materials must be returned exactly as provided.

Any deviation from the as-shipped condition may disqualify the return.

Restocking Fees & Deductions

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10%.

This fee may cover payment processing costs, inspection, authentication, handling, administrative review, repackaging, relisting, insurance, shipping, and potential loss of market value or sale opportunity.

Original shipping, return shipping, insurance costs, merchant processing fees, and other non-refundable costs may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

Unacceptable Returns

A return may be classified as unacceptable and denied if any of the following apply:

• The item does not comply with every condition and instruction in this policy.
• The item shows signs of wear, use, alteration, sizing, tampering, damage, or handling marks.
• Security stickers, tags, plastics, links, packaging, paperwork, or accessories are missing or altered.
• The item was shipped late, shipped with an unauthorized label, or dropped off at an unauthorized location.
• The item was improperly packaged or damaged during return transit.

South Bay Coin reserves the right to determine whether a returned item qualifies as acceptable or unacceptable based on inspection, documentation, and internal assessment standards.

Consequences of Unacceptable Returns

At South Bay Coin’s sole discretion, an unacceptable return may be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense or accepted with applicable deductions, including restocking fees, shipping costs, insurance costs, and payment processing fees.

Inspection & Verification

All returned items are subject to inspection upon arrival. South Bay Coin may verify authenticity, condition, completeness, mechanical integrity, packaging, security stickers, accessories, and signs of wear or tampering.

Inspection findings determined by South Bay Coin are final, binding, and non-negotiable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Refund Method & Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible.

Processing times may vary by bank, card issuer, or financial institution. South Bay Coin is not responsible for banking delays.

Refunds will reflect all applicable deductions outlined in this policy.

Right to Refuse Service

South Bay Coin reserves the right to refuse any return that does not strictly comply with this policy, deny service to individuals suspected of policy abuse or fraudulent behavior, and modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
